There is a knock upon the heavy, ancient oak door of Smoker Mansions. Upon the threshold stands a man from the Gas Board, come yo read the meter. A meter that is hidden deep under mountains of detritus, deposited over generations onto the floor of The World Famous Studio In The Cupboard Under The Stairs. With a mighty effort, The Rockabilly DJ heaves a gargantuan chest of dusty 45s to one side, the gasman takes a reading, and goes on his merry way. This episode is largely culled from that recently unearthed hoard of vinyl.
